Friday, 20 November 2020 - Sunday, 22 November 2020
BMMP has once again invited us back to join in with the Porsche Race Series for a track and race day at Taupo. There will be two speed groups on the track at different times.
This day is the first round of the Pirelli Porsche Club 2020-2021 race series to be held at the Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park in Taupo on Saturday, 21st November. What a fantastic opportunity for us to join in, once again, with their social and on-track activities.
We would receive 6 x 15 min track sessions, per group. These would be subject to the normal "Playday" rules.
The track-day is proudly sponsored by Star Insurance and will be run in a format that will comply with their policies and requirements for on-track insurance cover.
Please note everyone that participates has to have previously participated in a track day or at the least have completed approved track day driver training.
There will also be a practice day for the race cars on Friday, 20th November, where we can also participate in our own groups. However, there is an extra cost for this.
On track facilities include:
the Pirelli truck; to be confirmed.
the track cafe will be open.
one of the lounges upstairs; to be confirmed.
pit Garages as required; shared garages with a max of 4 cars per garage.
There will be a catered buffet dinner at the track on Saturday; this will be attended by the race drivers, support crews and the track day drivers totalling approximately 50 people.
You will also have the opportunity to purchase a polo shirt which has been specifically designed for the race series.
One day only (Friday or Saturday):
Saturday track day, or Friday practice day, incl garage = $275 incl GST
Saturday track day, or Friday practice day, excl garage = $200 incl GST
