The First 911 to New Zealand

I am a member of PCGB and own the first 911 that was delivered to New Zealand in December 1965, chassis 302773. I am a passionate Porsche collector and I am also extremely interested in researching the history of the cars I own. John Lee has assisted with providing details.

I purchased the car from Sharezza in Singapore back in Nov 2016, who had purchased the car from Alex Ward in New Zealand. Alex purchased the car from an auction and thought he had purchased a converted LHD to RHD 65 car. After speaking to Graham Lister and discovering it was a very important car, being the first 911 imported to NZ, Alex put the car up for sale as he realised it deserved much more investment than he had available.
